Reminders and notifications
Pellet can nudge you about tasks with dates, using your operating system’s own notifications.
When they arrive

The ten-minute warning is the useful one. A notification at the exact moment something is due is a notification about something you’ve already failed to start.
Where they come from
Section titled “Where they come from”Your OS, not a browser tab or a service. On iPhone and iPad they’re scheduled with the system, so they arrive whether or not Pellet is running.
Calendar reminders are separate
Section titled “Calendar reminders are separate”If you’ve connected a calendar, events have their own reminder settings — a lead time for timed events, and a time-of-day for all-day ones. Those are configured independently, and work whether or not you push tasks to your calendar.
Turning them off
Section titled “Turning them off”Settings. And your OS has the final say — if you’ve silenced Pellet at the system level, nothing here overrides that, which is as it should be.
